The evening consisted of two round robins. In the first round robin, the first match was between “The Mpho’s” and the “The Stud’s”, with the “The Mpho’s winning”. The second match was “The Bojangos” against “Better than You”, with “The Bojangos” winning. The final for the round was between the winners, and “The Mpho’s” were victorious.

Between the two rounds, a penalty shoot out was held, and we saw some definite talent. And more importantly, the boys had lots of fun.

In the second round robin, we decided to mix things up, and we created four new mixed teams, in order to encourage different kids to get to know each other, as well as get more balance between the teams. What was really great to see was how the youngest team members were encouraged and supported throughout the evening, by the older players. Once again there was lots of competition between the teams, as well as lots of fun. Up for grabs were some great prizes, including Ed Hardy jackets and wallets, as well as a mix of trendy caps and soccer shirts. Thanks to Mike Milligan for the great prizes.

A big thanks to those of you who participated, (as well as the sideline support) and we hope to see you all again, as we are hoping to make a Friday teen event a regular event on our calendar.
