Saturday the 4th of December 2010 saw the “Cedaroos” in Cedar Lakes out in full force. The Christmas party kicked off at twelve, and once again we were lucky to have a beautiful day. Father Christmas was due to arrive at two, so until then the kids were kept busy. Besides the pool, which was full to capacity, we had swings, a tractor doing rides around the tennis courts, two jumping castles and two waterslides.

Friday 18 February 2011 saw us hosting our first teen event, an evening of soccer for kids aged 11-18. Whilst the initial response was slow, the turnout on the evening was great, and we had more than 30 kids participating.

What a fantastic achievement from the Cedar Lakes residents. We raised R15,000.00 at our second Cansa Shavathon event. And what was particularly special for us, was that this was more than double what we raised last year.
